Quite enjoyable, I must say. I found myself lost within pages of new imagery, humor, beautiful and quite unique photos and artwork. September 13th!!!
Yes, it's that time of year again,
time to head here:
and wish my mom, a happy birthday!

What a day of days, sheesh, the only way it could be
a more perfect day for my mom,
would be if it were Friday the 13th!

Well, what can I say about Betty-Boop,
she's an eclectic soul,
a great person (and mom)
and I love her immensely!
So stumble over, wish her well,
and don't forget your manners,
and leave a gift too... lol
(just kidding, although you know she'd love it)

After all the hard work of submitting
many of my poems to poetry magazines,
I received a copy of the
following magazine in the post,

and lo and behold....
I found one of my poems in it!!!!!
The poem as I posted it here,
is the one they chose.

~Pebbles on the Beach~

Pebbles on the shore.
Rocks from the sea.
Their existence reaching back from the depths of time,
An era of another life
residing deep within.

Strutting from the shore,
lies a pier with a story.
Day upon day,
Endless waves crash in upon it,
Embedding traces of time
Deep within the wood.

Life moves on in mysterious ways.
Existing around what's there to be found.
Oblivious to the depth of time that is daily passed by.

The end of a day,
Brings a hush to the shore.
But as storms come
And storms go,
Waves bring....
Pebbles on the beach
Rocks on the shore.
