And I sit there in the rain
Dreaming of this fairytale
But then reality strikes once again
And I realize where I am
And I couldn't be more sad
People pass me all the time
Friends that pretend to be
They all just sit there and lie
It's all just a big pretence
I sit out in the cold and rain
And I dream everything could change
A life like no other I sit there and think
I'll show them all, they'll understand with just a blink
A blink of an eye, that's all it'll take
For them to realize they were wrong about me, once again
And you'll be there with me, standing with me, laughing with me
And then I open my eyes
If only fairytales were real
If only you could be here.
